How Can I Support You?
Therapy is the opportunity to work through these experiences and begin a healing process to hopefully lead you to a place of peace, understanding and acceptance.
Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life.

The Therapeutic Experience
For some, coming to therapy may seem like a daunting task. You might wonder whether it will actually work. If everything will get better or worse. Whether you will have enough to talk about for 45 minutes. Or, whether you can really just sit there and talk to someone about yourself and what you are going through...
Those are all Normal thoughts.
Yet, we all have likely experienced a time in our lives when things have seemed too difficult, too stressful, too overwhelming, and possibly even too painful. We most likely have experienced some type of loss, whether it is of a loved one, a job, or even direction. We may have thought, “What am I going to do?” “What am I doing?” “I do not know what to do!” or even, “Will this [experience, feeling] ever end?”
Therapy can be a truly beneficial experience. It allows you to explore yourself further, face the reality of what maybe going on; and work towards the change you want.
As a Therapist, I want to...
- Build a collaborative therapeutic relationship with you
- Support you
- Help you find a resolution
As a therapist, I believe that one of the most important components of therapy is collaboration. I strive to build a therapeutic relationship with my clients in order to provide them with the optimal support needed to help begin the emotional healing process. It is together that we are able to determine what you need most to help you through this process. It is together that we are able to find new skills/solutions to help you move forth. It is together that we begin this process.
